Flexible Seating

Flexible Seating:

Chelsea, Paige and Erin from 3/4RB and Annalese, Finnan and Marshall from 3DG have been given a topic which is Flexible Seating.

We went to Stage two and three classrooms and surveyed them.

We asked them if classrooms should have flexible seating?

90 said- yes and 8 said- no.

Here are some ideas we got for flexible seating:

Lounges,  cushions, desks, coffee tables, domes, snake cushions, bean bags, rugs, wedges, office chairs, rocking chairs, beach chairs, yoga balls, high chairs and a mattress.

Why do we think that classrooms should have flexible seating?

We strongly believe that classrooms should have flexible seating as kids get to choose where they want to sit, because of this students will have neater work and will be more comfortable while working.

Blogging Initiation Task

  1. Continue to plan and research information you need to complete your first Blog post.
  2. Decide how you will present this information (focus on sharing your concept as a post).
  3. Write/film/photograph your first Blog, (exactly how it will appear on the Blog site).
  4. Edit (punctuation, spelling, does it make sense, pictures/diagrams included, have you used your own words?)
  5. Get another group to edit your work.
  6. Get ready to show a teacher, check that you have completed steps 1-5.
  7. Show a teacher, DO NOT show a teacher unless you have completed the above steps. (If you are thinking of cheating and skipping some of the steps above, choose your teacher wisely!!)
  8. If the teacher has a smile on her face after viewing your draft post, you will be granted posting rights to our page.  Well Done! You have made us proud. :)  (You are not allowed to tell bad jokes just to make her smile)
